Watamu Tree House was one of our first projects. It's fun and quirky being reported on in The Guardian newspaper, as perhaps being designed by Gaudi, Heath Robinson, a local tribesman and a hippy!
Formerly owned by Nani Croze of Kitengela Glass fame, with the round structure already standing, it was our job to turn it into a functioning, but fun and beautiful house.
It is now a very successful yoga retreat.
Watamu Tree House was reviewed in Karibu Kenya. Here's what they had to say:
"This architecturally extraordinary house, was built in several stages, with contributions from Andrew Melesi of Sala Terrena. The result is 2 white washed towers, linked by bridges and studded with colourful glass adornments. Stylish, striking and completely unique, the house has been featured in architectural and touristic publications, and has won several awards.
